Family Day | Luray Caverns

This week my husband and I took our girls for a family field trip to Luray Caverns.  We spent about an hour touring the caves which were absolutely stunning, then we followed it up with a little picnic, a ropes course for Holly, and of course no trip is any good without some ice cream to finish it up!  We were lucky enough to have great weather and were really able to enjoy the beautiful day together!  Here are some of the pictures from our trip :)

Another couple you may remember from thier maternity session: Megan and Brandon!  These 2 welcomed me into their home to capture some of their everyday life with their 2 month old son Ethan!  He was just too sweet!  Love the shots we captured!

You may recognize this couple from their maternity session a few months back, I’m finally getting to post this lifestyle session with their precious baby Landyn at 2 months old!  What a cutie!  Congrats on your little one Matt and Meg!

Hello friends!! Today I have the pleasure of featuring Megan and Brandon on the blog as they are expecting their baby boy!  Megan is a fellow photographer and we actually found each other on a facebook forum and decided to swap maternity sessions!! These 2 were so fun to work with!! Megan was a natural in front of the camera and her husband Brandon was a trip!  We laughed the entire session and got some absolutely great shots!! “M” | Maternity

Hello friends!! It’s been a little while since I blogged, but I’m hoping to stay on top of things more now that I’ve set up my NEW OFFICE! I have a brand new computer that is running lightning fast compared to my previous extra loved laptop that had seen it’s better days!  This new computer is absolutely awesome!! The screen is huge and man is it fast! So exciting!!

What else is exciting?! Matt and Meg!! These 2 are having their first baby any day now,  so I thought I’d throw up their blog post before little Landyn makes his appearance!  We met up in old town Occoquan bright and early to get these shots, and I have to say they are some of my favorites! Meg you are beautiful and you 2 were a blast to work with! I had alot of fun and I hope you guys love these photos as much as me! :D

Dorothy | 6 months

I met up with little Miss Dorothy and her mom and dad to shoot her 6 month session and had a blast.  I’ve been shooting these guys since their wedding and I’m so happy to be helping them capture these precious memories!!  Even though it was 9 am it was still scorching hot, but we got some great shots outside the Marine Corps Museum in Quantico, Virginia and then we headed inside for more shots and cooling off! 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Allie’s | Bridal Shower

When I was on vacation I had the pleasure of attending a dear friend of mines bridal shower!  I was so excited that the dates lined up and I was actually able to make the event.  There was alot of love and laughter in the air, and I feel priviledged that I was able to be there and celebrate with one of the sweetest familes I know!!

 

 

 

 

 

  

 

This is when Allie opened the present from her Mom, who had a piece of her wedding dress cut into a heart and embroidered for Allie!  Like I said this is the sweetest family I know!! I can only hope to be as close with my children as these ladies!!
